2. Hosting
This blog runs on the Blogger platform, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you load a page, Google's servers automatically process server-log data, which may include: IP address, date and time of the request, time zone, requested URL, HTTP status, transferred bytes, referrer URL, browser type, browser language, and operating system. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in serving the site reliably and securely).

3. Cookies and Consent Management
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies (for example, those required for the Blogger platform to function) are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) TTDSG. All other cookies — particularly those used for advertising and analytics — are set only after you give consent via the consent banner shown on your first visit. 5. Google Analytics 4
This blog uses Google Analytics 4, operated by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors interact with the site. GA4 sets cookies and collects data including a truncated IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, time on page, and interaction events. IP addresses are processed in a shortened form (IP anonymisation is enabled by default in GA4 within the EEA).

If you leave a comment on a post, Blogger processes the name, email address, and any other information you submit, together with the comment content, your IP address, and a timestamp. Comments and the data above remain visible on the post until you or I delete them. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your decision to post a comment).
7. Contact by Email
If you contact me at info@securityscriptographer.com, your message is processed for the purpose of replying to it. The email service is provided by Cloudflare Email Routing (forwarding only), operated by Cloudflare, Inc., with delivery to a Gmail mailbox operated by Google Ireland Limited. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying to enquiries) or, where the contact concerns a contract or pre-contractual measure, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Messages are retained for as long as needed to address the matter and any follow-up.
